The Federal Bar Association’s Indian Law Conference (April 6-7, 2020) in-person event located in Albuquerque, NM is canceled. We are in the process of working through possible alternative arrangements.
AMERIND NAIHC Annual Convention & Tradeshow
This annual event will be on May 05 – 07, 2020. This joint Annual Convention features a two-day trade show as well as topical training sessions that provided up-to-date information on issues that impact tribal housing programs and that directly relate to administration of programs under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA).

American Indian Nations and American Indians are pursuing business opportunities of every kind, including e-commerce and private-sector economies. One advantage of online businesses is that they address the physical challenges that mostly-remote Indian Country still faces today.
E-commerce can create thriving economies, but involve jurisdictional, economic and practical issues.
National Crime Prevention Summit
|The Crime Prevention Summit will offer a forum for tribal leaders and federal agencies to discuss methamphetamine prevalence, opioid addiction, violence against women, and gang violence. Discussion of these topics will aid tribal leaders to come up with unified efforts for their community to combat these crimes. Participants will learn about how these topics affect housing and the greater tribal community. Information on available funding sources and ideas for implementing policies to prevent and address these crimes will be shared.|

Due to growing concerns around the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Board of. Directors and CEO of the National Indian Health Board (NIHB) announce that the 2020 National Tribal Public Health Summit, currently scheduled to take place March 17-20, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska, is being postponed to a later time during 2020.
